" Theres only one Nigel Short" appeared on the Scoreboard at the recent Sheffield Wednesday v Burnley game.And here at the Swallows we all agree(some would say just as well,only joking!).Without going in to too much detail Nigel has just undergone major surgery and has a lengthy bout of on going treatment ahead.For those of you who dont know Nige played a massive role in securing our sponsor and making this website possible and almost idiot proof for the likes of me (as well as sharing a Stella or two).More importantly he's a great friend!.We would all like to give Nige,Gina and Dan(and families) our support.Our thoughts are with you Nige.
