Club and History
Swallownest Juniors FC were formed in the summer of 2005 by Mark and Michelle Kiddy.
From the very beginning the philosophy has been to approach the game with a view to winning, but NOT AT ALL COST! with emphasis on enjoyment and fun.Club Chairman Mark Kiddy said "The development and enjoyment of the players is key to the future success of Swallownest Juniors, and the medium term aim is to create more age groups within the club but this must be managed and well structured as per our previous teams to deliver our continued success".
Mark and Michelle are the backbone of the club and have a passion for football,with plans to take the Club forward each and every year,with another age group planned for the 2009/10 season.Club Secretary Michelle said"Mark and i work well together and we know exactly what we want to achieve for the club,we enjoy what we do,we are also fortunate to have support from some good parents, long may this continue."
Several key achievements to date include U14s League Champions 2008/09 season,U14S Eckington Boys tournament winners 2008,2006 South Elmsall Tournament winners,U10s Hemsworth tournament winners,U11s Birks Holt tournament runners up 2009.Fair play award Mullion in Cornwall 2006.
